I've decided who's corner I'm in for this season of NBC's "The Biggest Loser: Couples." It's the RED Team.
This isn't to say I'm AGAINST any other team. It's just that the RED Team is the only married couple on the ranch, and they honestly need the help in their relationship more than in their waistlines.
So far I've been pretty disappointed with the wife, because she seems genuinely angry at her husband for gaining weight and losing his lucrative job as a commercial diver. She's thrown him under the bus several times in just two shows. She's also playing the game in just week 2! After winning immunity, she GAINED a pound by not working hard so she could have more to lose in week 3. We shall see if that strategy works.
The husband is not innocent, and his wife isn't purely wrong. They both have issues and they both have acknowledged them. But for the sake of marriage, and making their changes together, I'm pulling for the RED Team.
